A source close to the situation tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively about Miley and Nick’s lunch date, saying, ”[There was] absolutely no romantic vibe at all, at any time while they ate and while they were there. It seemed more like a meeting than a friendly chit chat or get together — it was a more serious tone, based on their demeanor. They seemed to be having a business meeting — they were on their phones and then they left without incident.”
We’re also told, “They left separately.” So it seems like it was very innocent between the two, and better yet, our source tells us that Liam was aware of the get together the whole time. “Liam was fully aware that she was out with him, there is nothing to worry about at all.”

LISTEN: New Jonas Brothers Track, “Pom Poms!”
The Bros are back! The Jonas Brothers have been busy creating new music for a while now, and they’ve just announced that their next single, “Pom Poms,” will be dropping on April 9th!
So far, the track sounds a little more rock & roll than a little edgier than their singles in the past, but the trio’s trademark voices are just how we remember them. The album (the first since 2009) will be released later this year.

Joe Jonas: Bruno Mars Inspired the Jonas Brothers’ New Album
It’s been four years since the Jonas Brothers released their last album, but middle brother Joe hasn’t been taking a break by any means.
Not only did he release a solo album, Fastlife, in 2011, he has also starred on brother Kevin’s reality show Married to Jonas (the series’ second season premieres this spring), just wrapped a tour of South America with his brothers, and has a new Jonas Brothers album in the works.
Plus, Joe has returned for a third year as a mentor to a teen for ACUVUE’s 1-Day contest. “I continue to have dreams that I want to accomplish, and the fact that I’m able to hear their stories and somehow, through what I’ve gone through, I can help them,” he said.
The singer, 23, talked to Parade.com about the new Jonas Brothers album, filming Married to Jonas, and why he’s still gunning for a Grammy win.
On the Jonas Brothers new album (no release date yet!).
“My brothers and I have been working on an album for the last about seven, eight months now and we have just finished. I’m really excited about sharing with the fans and keeping it under lock and key until that time comes up, and it’s been a very exciting process. Nick’s been producing all the music so we really have been the chefs in the kitchen with our project.”
On what the album will sound like.
“I like when people are able to come up with their own personal feelings on it. But what I can say is we used some brass in the music. We’ve been able to incorporate a lot more instruments, and even Nick, used some of the electronic drums and what his computer can do. It’s pretty phenomenal.”
On what other artists inspired the new album.
“A lot of old school music—not only blues, but soul music and also some dance music that we were listening to. On top of that, there are artists like Bruno Mars and a couple others that are really using a lot of instruments in their live music that they incorporate with the album. That’s what we’ve been trying to do.”
On how life has changed since the Jonas Brothers’ last album.
“I would say quite a lot! I mean, going from living in the same bedroom as three other brothers and working every day, to now being able to pick and choose opportunities, and I still get to do my music. I think my favorite piece now is that we have our own label and we have all of our rights to our music. We’re also able to create tours ourselves, from packaging a record to [deciding] what [the tour] looks like on a stage. Putting that all together has been a really exciting process.”
On the difference between international fans and American fans.
“International fans, I think because there’s a language barrier, are very physical and loud. So it’s exciting, but can be nerve-wracking sometimes. It’s a thrill to be able to have opportunities to go to these different cities and places that sometimes you can’t pronounce, and fans are singing the words to all your songs. It’s an overwhelming experience.”
On which he prefers: performing solo or with his brothers.
“I prefer being back with my brothers. I’ve learned over time that you really rely on them. When I did the solo project, it was a learning experience because I realized how much pressure you put on yourself, whether it is a live performance or even a recording or interviews. You get tired. When you have your brothers there, you’re not answering every question by yourself or you’re not performing every song by yourself, and that’s a great thing to able to experience, and also a learning tool.”
On whether he’ll go solo again.
“Maybe eventually, but as of right now, my priority is the band.”
On how Married to Jonas has changed the brothers’ dynamic.
“[While filming,] you’re always thinking about the fact that there’s a camera in your face, but I think it’s one of those things where you just be yourself. It is a little bit different because it’s the first time in our lives where we don’t have the opportunity to edit or say “let’s cut this,” like when we’ve done filming before. So now, actually having an official reality show is a little bit intense when it’s in somebody else’s hands. But at the same time, it’s a great way for the fans to also be able to see our music and how we’re a family.”
On what goals he still wants to achieve.
“I would love to be able to do more acting and even build my charity a bit more so I can reach more people. It would be an incredible opportunity to be nominated again for a Grammy and potentially win one.”

JoBros give fans a 30-second taste of their new track, out April 9.
The Jonas Brothers are getting saxy on their new single, “Pom Poms.”
A foot-stomping beat, a hint of horns and sexy swagger are in full force in a 30-second preview of the track, officially out on April 9.
“Just to see how you get down/ Feels like an earthquake Every time you come around/ Here ’em sayin’ yeah/ Every time feels like a revival/ So get up right now/ We’re comin’ for the title,” they sing on the tune. “Oh I love it when your hands are free/ Baby put your pom poms down for me.”
Pom Poms make an appearance not only in the song’s lyrics, but also in the video, which the guys shot last month in New Orleans. For it, they enlisted the help of two local cheerleading squads and the Southern University marching band.
The teaser is the first taste of their 2013 album release, set to hit the streets later this year.
“The vibe right now that we’re trying to create, we’ve kind of had a really memorable and a career we’re really thankful for up until this time, [and now we’re] hoping to create an experience for our fans that is really personal and shows a little bit deeper look into what our lives have been like, as far as lyrics,” Nick told MTV News last October about the band’s new batch of music. “We’re talking about some really real subjects and things that are meaningful to us both in the present time, in the past, and it’s just now out there for people to hear. That’s the great thing about being an artist, is you can create and then share later.”
Over the weekend, in addition to giving fans a preview of their new music, they also wrapped up their South American tour. While on the road they were playing several new songs, but had yet to preview “Pom Poms.” And JoBros fans should mark another date on their calendars. In addition to releasing “Pom Poms” in full in the next few weeks, the new season of Kevin’s E! series with his wife Danielle, “Married to Jonas,” kicks off on April 21.

The Jo Bros have revealed to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest“ exclusively their next upcoming single will be “Pom Poms” and we can expect the track to drop this Spring.
In fact, they just shot the video last Saturday!
So what can we expect the song and video to be like? The video, shot in New Orleans, was complete with the cheerleading squads from the Saints and Hornets as well as the marching band for Southern University.
And to us, it sounds like the perfect tune to be played during half time shows and sports arenas near and far!

Nick Jonas was born in Dallas, Texas. His mother, Denise (née Miller), is a former sign language teacher and singer, and his father, Paul Kevin Jonas, Sr., is a songwriter, musician, and former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church.[ He was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey and homeschooled by his mother. Nick is of Italian (from a great-grandfather), German, Irish, English, Cherokee, and French-Canadian descent.
Career beginnings: 2000–2005
Jonas’s career started when he was discovered at the age of six in a barber shop, while his mother was getting her hair cut and was referred to a professional show business manager.[9][10] At the age of 7, he began performing on Broadway.[11][12] He had acted in several plays, including A Christmas Carol (in 2000 as Tiny Tim and Scrooge at eight), Annie Get Your Gun (in 2001 as Little Jake),Beauty and the Beast (in 2002 as Chip), and Les Misérables (in 2003 as Gavroche).[12][13][14][15] After Les Misérables closed, he performed in The Sound of Music (as Kurt) at the Paper Mill Playhouse.[16]
In 2002, while performing in Beauty and the Beast, Jonas wrote a song with his father called “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer).” With background vocals from the Beauty and the Beast cast, Nick recorded the song on the 2002 annual Broadway “Equity Fights AIDS” album, Broadway’s Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Vol. 4.[17][18] In November 2003, INO Records received a demo copy of “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)”.[19] The label released the song to Christian radio, where it quickly became popular on Record & Radio’s Christian Adult Contemporary Chart.[18]
By September 2004, an executive at Columbia Records discovered Jonas’ song.[17][18] He was soon jointly signed to INO Records and Columbia Records and released the single “Dear God”.[20][21] A second single, “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)” (a re-recorded version), was released on November 16.[22] It was supposed to be followed by a December release of a self-titled solo album Nicholas Jonas, but the album was pushed back.[23] It did, however, get a limited release.[24] Nick, along with his brothers, Kevin and Joe, co-wrote songs for the album.[17] In early 2005, Columbia Records’ new president,Steve Greenberg, heard Jonas’ record. While Greenberg did not like the album, he did like Nick’s voice.[25]
Jonas Brothers: 2005–2010

After meeting with Jonas and hearing the song, “Please Be Mine”, written and performed by the brothers, Daylight/Columbia Records decided to sign the three as a group act.[17][26][27] After being signed to Columbia, the brothers considered naming their group “Sons of Jonas” before settling on the name “Jonas Brothers.”[28] It’s About Time, the brothers’ first album was released on August 8, 2006.[29] According to the band’s manager, it was only a “limited release” of a little over 50,000 copies. Because Sony was not interested in further promoting the band, the Jonas Brothers considered switching labels. The band was ultimately dropped by Columbia Records in early 2007.
After shortly being without a label, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records in February 2007.[30][31] Around the same time, brothers began appearing in commercials for Baby Bottle Pops, singing the jingle.[31] Their self-titled second album, Jonas Brothers, was released on August 7, 2007.[32] It reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week. It has since sold over three million copies worldwide. On August 17, 2007, Jonas, along with his brothers, guest starred in an episode of Hannah Montana, which aired after the premiere of High School Musical 2 and the Disney Channel show Phineas and Ferb.[33] The episode broke basic cable records with a record 10.7 million viewers and became basic cable’s most watched series telecast ever.[34]

The reality short series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, premiered on Disney Channel on May 16, 2008. The show, which ran until September 5, 2008, documents the brothers’ lives on the Look Me in the Eyes Tour. The name was inspired by the band’s hit song “When You Look Me in the Eyes“. The series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on March 21, 2010.[35] The second season follows the band on the European leg of their World Tour 2009. Jonas and his brothers filmed a Disney Channel Original Movie called Camp Rock where they play a band called “Connect Three.” Joe plays the lead male role as lead singer “Shane Gray”; Nick plays the role of “Nate,” a guitarist; and Kevin plays the role of “Jason,” also a guitarist. A soundtrack for the movie was released on June 17, 2008. The movie premiered on June 20, 2008, in the USA onDisney Channel, and Canada on Family. Production began on the sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in September 2009 and it premiered during the summer of 2010.
The Jonas Brothers’ third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, was released in the United States on August 12, 2008. It sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The Jonas Brothers were listed number 9 on the richest pop acts of 2008. Jonas and his brothers starred in the Disney Channel Original Series JONAS about a pop band trying to live a normal life, which premiered May 2, 2009 and concluded on March 14, 2010. Filming for the second season began in February 2010. The second season was renamed Jonas L.A., and premiered on June 20, 2010. On November 8, 2010, it was announced that the series had been cancelled.[36] The Jonas Brothers’ fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, was released in the United States in June 2009.
Solo projects: 2010–2011

Jonas’ side project from the Jonas Brothers called Nick Jonas & the Administration released their debut album Who I Am was released February 2, 2010. In January 2010, Jonas embarked on the Who I Am Tour with the Administration.[37] The tour consisted of 22 dates that began on January 2, 2010, in Dallas, Texas and concluded on January 30, 2010, in Berkeley, California. Jonas also toured with his brothers again in 2010. In September 2011 and October 2011, Nick Jonas & The Administration began touring through South America in support of their debut album, Who I Am.[38]
On June 21, 2010, Jonas made his West End debut performing in Les Misérables for the second time, but this time as the role of Marius Pontmercy.[39] Jonas was originally supposed to play the role for only three weeks, but was able to extend his run until July 24, 2010, because of changes in the Jonas Brothers tour schedule.[40] He also appeared in the 25th Anniversary Concert at The O2 Arena on October 3, 2010, again playing the role of Marius Pontmercy.[41] From August 5–7, 2011, Jonas performed in the musical Hairspray as Link Larkin at the Hollywood Bowl.[42] Jonas appeared in the 2011 series Mr. Sunshine; he played Eli White, an up-and-coming singer who wants everything his way before he performs at the Sunshine Center.[43] He also plays the role of Ryan on the sitcom Last Man Standing.[44][45]
Jonas Brothers reunion: 2012
In February 2012, he appeared in episode of Smash in the role of Lyle West, a young musician and television star backing a promising Broadway musical;[46][47] Jonas will reprise the role of Lyle West in the show’s season finale on May 14.[48] Nick had a cameo appearance in the last episode of the second season of the comedy web series Submissions Only.[49] Jonas was to perform in the musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” as J. Pierrepont Finch[50] from January 24 till July 1, 2012.[51] However, the musical ended its run on May 20.[52][53] Jonas recorded 5 songs for the How To Succeed in Business soundtrack.[54][55]
On March 6, 2012, the Jonas Brothers released a video on Twitter of them in their home studio, along with the hashtag “#JonasBrothers2012”, suggesting that a reunion was occurring.[56] Starting on August 19, 2012, the eldest Jonas brother will appear in an E! reality series[57] alongside his wife Danielle and brothers Nick and Joe. “Married to Jonas” will document the young couple’s domestic life as well as the brothers’ recording efforts as they prepare to release their newest group album.[58]
On May 1, 2012, it was announced that after 6 years with Hollywood Records, the Jonas Brothers had parted ways with their label. The band has bought back the rights to their master recordings, merchandising, and publishing, and plans to release their upcoming fifth album with a new label.[59]
On July 4, 2012, Jonas joined his brother, Joe Jonas on stage and performed a collection of Jonas Brothers songs toghter on the Philly’s Fourth of July Jam.[60][61] On July 18, 2012, he joined Demi Lovato in Los Angeles on stage at the Greek Theatre during her Summer Tour 2012 and performed the songs Don’t Forget and Catch Me with her.[62][63]
On July 30, 2012: Jonas is reportedly in final negotiations to join the judging panel in the twelfth season of Fox‘s American Idol.[64][65][66][67][68] On August 4, 2012, he released a statement that he’s considered for the judging role.[69] However, on August 27, 2012, it was reported that he had signed a deal with Fox to be a guest mentor next to Demi Lovato on The X-Factor after she chooses the four people that will continue the contest.[70]
Personal life
Jonas was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of thirteen and wears an OmniPod insulin pump to help him manage his condition.[71] He has developed the Change for the Children Foundation. Partnering with five different charities, their goal is to raise money and awareness for diabetes.[72] He also developed a public service announcement with theWashington Nationals to support diabetes care at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.[73]
Since August 6, 2008, Bayer Diabetes Care has partnered with Jonas as a diabetes ambassador to promote the idea for young people to manage their diabetes.[74] Jonas testified in the U.S. Senate to promote more research funding for the condition.[75] In 2010, Nick further volunteered his efforts for Do Something by offering his time as a prize to teens who donated jeans to Do Something and Aeropostale’s “Teens for Jeans” campaign.[76] Further, Nick filmed another PSA, this one in support of Do Something’s “Battle of the Bands” campaign, for the advancement of music education in schools.[77] Nick is also is a member of the National Youth Leadership Committee for the Ronald Reagan Centennial Celebration, along with Jordin Sparks, Genevieve Ryan, and Brodi Conover.[78][79][80]
